UK SUBS WARHEAD CD
14th April 2008

UK SUBS brand new CD Warhead is being released on June 9th.

The title track "Warhead" is a new version of their classic single, which originally reached number 30 in 1980. This release also contains 2 brand new tracks and a new mix of "Straighten Out" from the band's previous single 666 Yeah, plus a new treatment of another UK SUBS favourite "I Live In A Car".

A bonus live clip "Warhead" features guest bassist Tony Barber from Buzzcocks. Filmed at Islington Academy in London, UK on 16.07.07 taken from the DVD Paul Fox (The Ruts) benefit gig.

The band will be touring in the UK this spring, check out the tour dates!

CHARLIE HARPER IN JAPEN
2nd April 2008

The lead singer of UK SUBS is in Japan at the moment. Charlie will be performing a show with a Japanese band at Moon Step in Tokyo on April 20th.

ACADEMY IN THE UK CANCELLATIONS

Please be aware that Academy In The UK festival dates in Liverpool, Bristol and Newcastle that UK SUBS were booked have now been CANCELLED.

Below is a statement from the Academy In The UK organisers:

"Due to unforseen circumstances, Academy In The UK will just be held in Birmingham this year on bank holiday May 4th. All tickets for Liverpool, Bristol, Newcastle and London should be returned to their point of purchase for a refund. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we hope to see you in Birmingham."

However, UK SUBS will be playing in Stockport, Thatched House on May 2nd and Gosport, Rugby Club on August 23rd instead.

7th March 2008

The tour starts in Auckland at Kings Arms Tavern tonight. The band will be touring until March 22nd. Catch them in a town near you.

There are a few rumours going around on various forums and message boards that Charlie Harper of UK SUBS has died. This is of course NOT true. Charlie is ALIVE and on tour with the band in Germany at the moment.

The tour starts in Dusseldorf, Germany with Charlie Harper, Nicky Garratt, Alvin Gibbs and Jamie Oliver line-up.
